Probably off-topic here, but what about 3rd parties that want to
rebuild their packages for F7t1? E.g. if some packages rely on
dependencies out of the desktop-spin-set. Should 3rd parties maybe
better directly use rawhide for F7t1 (the alternative seems to be to
mix F7t1 and rawhide)?

Yes, please use rawhide. Test1 is nothing more than an arbitrary snapshot of
the rawhide tree at a given date. A little work for broken deps when in, and
to make the thing installable, but that's it, just a picture in time while
development moves on.
